New Delhi. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken an investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack and has intensified the search for evidence to find out the terrorist conspiracy and is interrogating eyewitnesses. Officials gave this information on Sunday. He said that the anti -terrorism agency registered a case in Jammu on Sunday after the order of the Union Home Ministry and several teams are investigating.
Officials said that after the death of 26 people in a brutal terrorist attack on Tuesday afternoon, a team of officers led by Inspector General of NIA (IG) has been sent to the spot. He said that the NIA teams have been camping at the terrorist attack site since Wednesday to gather evidence.

A statement by the NIA said, ‘NIA teams are investigating the entry and exit points to get clues about terrorists. With the help of forensic and other experts, the team is conducting a thorough investigation into the entire area to expose the terrorist conspiracy, which led to the horrific attack. This attack has shocked the country.
Eyewitnesses are also being closely questioned to add links of developments that carried out one of the most horrific terrorist attacks in Kashmir. According to the NIA’s statement, the team formed under the supervision of an Inspector General of Anti-Terrorism Agency, a Deputy Inspector General and a Superintendent is questioning eyewitnesses on Tuesday’s attack in the Basaron Valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. In the targeted attack, a group of terrorists killed tourists in a meadow called ‘Mini Switzerland’, riding around the restaurants, riding a pony or along with their families, including their children and parents.

Officials said that different teams of NIA officials are visiting the country to get information from the survivors in the terrorist attack. It is being told that the attack was carried out by Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET). He said that the NIA team has recorded statements of family members of victims in other states including Maharashtra, Odisha and West Bengal. He said that a preliminary investigation into this brutal terrorist attack shows that the number of terrorists involved in it was from five to seven.
Officials said the attackers were also helped by at least two local terrorists undergoing training in Pakistan. Security agencies have issued sketches of three terrorists on suspicion of involvement in the attack. He told that all three are Pakistani and their names are Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. The Jammu and Kashmir Police has announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh to the person giving information about the terrorists. Officials quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the investigation revealed that the terrorists used ‘body cameras’ to record their barbaric acts.
