Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav termed the Pahalgam terror attack as a failure of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s central government. He accused the BJP of giving priority to propaganda instead of resolving important issues. Along with this, he demanded financial assistance of Rs 10 crore to the family of each victim of the terrorist attack and a government job.
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yadav said, ‘This (Pahalgam attack) is the failure of the government. This is the result of intelligence failure. There was no proper security system and the army could not reach there. Now people are also talking about Pulwama with Pahalgam. Regarding the all -party meeting on this issue, he said, the party has said what was said in the meeting. I cannot say much about this. You can ask the Chief Minister (Yogi Adityanath) that they are talking big on this matter.

Addressing a press conference at the SP headquarters, Akhilesh said, “Our issues are still of unemployment- jobs are decreasing, jobs are ending, the opportunities are coming to an end, work is not available according to merit and the government is not able to provide respectable employment.”

The SP chief alleged that the people of the government are not giving constitutional rights together, playing with reservation and the purpose of not giving jobs is not to directly provide reservation. He claimed, “Political interference in education has increased a lot.” Yadav said that the most unsafe atmosphere for the women is in Uttar Pradesh and it is telling the government’s figures. He said that the way education has been privatized, people of the party and youth brigade will explain to the public.
