According to defense sources, India has given a strong warning to Pakistan over these repeated violations on the Line of Control (LOC). Till yesterday morning ceasefire violation was limited to LoC. However, the situation worsened late last night when the Pakistani army started firing on the international border in Pargwal sector of Jammu.
Between the increasing tension between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the two countries spoke to the hotline on Tuesday. According to defense sources, India has given a strong warning to Pakistan over these repeated violations on the Line of Control (LOC). Till yesterday morning ceasefire violation was limited to LoC. However, the situation worsened late last night when the Pakistani army started firing on the international border in Pargwal sector of Jammu.
Defense sources said that the Directorate General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan talked on the hotline yesterday and discussed the ceasefire violation without provocation. India warned Pakistan against the ceasefire violations being carried out by the Pakistani Army on the Line of Control. Remandable, it comes after reports that the Pakistani Army has begun preparations for a possible Indian military action in which both the army and the Navy are on alert.
Sources in the military establishment said that the Pakistan Air Force has reduced flight operations by more than 50% in the airsplain to avoid confusion only to the necessary missions. A Pakistani minister has already indicated the mentality of the army, saying that he expects an Indian attack within the next 24 to 36 hours. After the ceasefire violation in the Pargwal sector on the international border, additional BSF personnel were deployed and Indian soldiers responded to a quick and balanced manner to the Pakistani invasion.
