Amit Shah spoke on caste calculations, Modi government resolved for social justice, Nitish also thanked PM

The central government on Wednesday announced that caste -based calculations would be part of the upcoming decading census. The decision was taken in a meeting of a high -level cabinet committee on political affairs under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Regarding this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on X that the Modi government, which was determined for social justice, has taken a historic decision today. In the CCPA meeting held today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the message of social equality and strong commitment to the rights of every class has been given by deciding to include caste calculations in the upcoming census.

Shah alleged that the Congress and its allies opposed the caste census while in power for decades and did politics on it while in opposition. This decision will empower all economic and socially backward classes, promoting inclusion and it will pave new routes of progress of the underprivileged. The Chief Minister of Bihar thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote that the Central Government’s decision to conduct caste census is welcome. The demand for us to conduct caste census is old. It is a matter of great pleasure that the Central Government has decided to conduct caste census.
He further said that by conducting caste census, the number of people from different classes will be known, which will help in making plans for their upliftment and development. This will speed up the development of the country. Greetings and thanks to the Honorable Prime Minister Respected Shri Narendra Modi for the decision to conduct caste census. Union Minister Chirag Paswan said that this is a very big and historical decision and for this I thank my PM on behalf of my party Lok Janshakti (Ram Vilas). Today my PM has fulfilled our demand which was pending for a long time. People often used to say that LJP and BJP are on two different paths.

UP Deputy Chief Minister KP Mariya said, “Only the government led by PM Modi could have taken this decision; I welcome it … This decision proves that the BJP works and gives results.” Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai said, “If the Union Cabinet has taken this decision, it will be operated.” Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said, “I thank and congratulate Narendra Modi ji who has decided to include caste census in the national census.”
