The Congress on Wednesday took credit for the central government’s decision to include the caste survey in the upcoming census and said that it has been demanding the party for a long time. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced the government’s decision to include caste data in the upcoming census during the briefing of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in New Delhi. He also criticized the Congress and its allies for using the issue of caste census as a political weapon.

At the same time, RJD has also started taking credit for Bihar elections. Congress MP Chamla Kiran Kumar Reddy said that this initiative has come from Telangana state, which has recently done caste census. This is what our leader Rahul Gandhi dreamed. We are happy to see his dream fulfilled. Congress leader Udit Raj said that I welcome this decision. This is the victory of the Congress. After all, the Modi government has to conduct caste census.
Former Bihar CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said on the decision of the Union Cabinet that caste census will be part of the upcoming census. He said, “This was our 30 -year -old demand. It is our victory of our, socialists and Lalu Yadav. Earlier, all parties of Bihar met the PM, but they rejected our demand. Many ministers denied it, but it is our strength that they have to work on our agenda.”

Union Minister Nityanand Rai posted on ‘X’: “The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided that caste census should also be included in the upcoming census. It shows that the present government is committed to the all -round development and values of the country and society. Even in the past, the poor classes of the society were provided 10% reservation, then it was widely accepted in the society and no social stress was not accepted in the society. Thank you very much.” Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said, “I thank and congratulate Narendra Modi ji who has decided to include caste census in the national census.”
