On Thursday, a 17 -year -old girl entered her house in Ganjam district of Odisha and was allegedly attacked by her lover with a knife. A police officer gave this information. He said that the police have detained two people, including the alleged killer and are questioning them to find out the cause behind the murder.
According to the official, the accused entered the girl’s house in Gopalpur police station area at around 9 am. At that time the girl’s parents were not at home. He said that the accused had an argument with the girl, after which he attacked with a sharp weapon.
The official said that when the police reached the spot, the body of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Berhampur found blood -soaked. He said that the body has been sent for postmortem.
“We are interrogating the two persons detained to find out the exact reason for the crime,” said Berhampur Superintendent of Police Sarvan Vivek M..
He said that the victim’s parents had asked the daughter to break the relationship but both were associated with each other through social media. The police officer said that it is also alleged that the accused often used to come to his house in the absence of the girl’s parents. The Superintendent of Police said that the entire case is being investigated.
