india does not like war but nsa doval said after talking to wang yi

Wang Yi, a member of the political bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, spoke to Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Doval said that there has been a lot of damage among Indian personnel in the Pahalgam terror attack and India needs to take anti -terrorism action. He emphasized that war is not the choice of India and it does not fulfill the interests of any side. Both India and Pakistan are committed to maintaining a ceasefire and expect a quick restoration of regional peace and stability.

Wang Yi expressed his opposition to China’s condemnation of the Pahalgam terror attack and all the forms of terrorism. He said that given the current complex and unstable international conditions, it is difficult to achieve peace and stability in Asia and should be cherished. India and Pakistan are neighbors that cannot be transferred and both are neighbors of China. China appreciates Doval’s statement that war is not the choice of India and honestly hopes that both sides will remain calm and restrain, resolve differences through dialogue and consultation and avoid moving forward. China supports achieving a broad and permanent ceasefire through negotiations by India and Pakistan and hopes that it is in the fundamental interests of the two countries and the common aspirations of the international community.
