In Mahathapar village of Sikanderpur area in Ballia district, a woman allegedly committed suicide by her husband’s refusal to use a mobile phone. Police sources said on Monday that Roney Verma (28) ate poison on Monday night after which the family took him to the Community Health Center Sikanderpur in critical condition.

Sources say that Roney often used to talk to someone on a mobile phone. She always had a dispute with her husband Dharmendra about this. On Sunday too, Dharmendra had prevented Roney from using mobile, which enraged and committed suicide. Sources said that the police is investigating the case.
