Dhawan wrote on the social media playoff X on Tuesday that, sometimes learning is the only way to learn in a difficult way, which makes the lesson remember. It is expected that there will be a turning point where Rathi will learn to use the fire in a more creative way and will respect every player on the field, which he deserves.

Cricket fans are fiercely reacted on Dhawan’s post. One user commented that the players should respect each other. The other said that, Digvesh Rathi’s behavior on the ground is not really appropriate.

The IPL press release said that Lucknow Super Janent bowler Digvesh Singh has been fined 50 per cent of the match fee for violating IPL code of creating during his team’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This was a third level of crime under Rule 2.5 this season and hence he has been given two more demerit marks in addition to the first three demerit marks. This includes a demerit point against Punjab Kings on April 1, 2025 and two demerit points against Mumbai Indians on April 4, 2025. He has 5 demerit points in the season, the result of which is a match suspension, so Digvesh will now be suspended from the next match of LSAG. At the same time, Abhishek Sharma was fined 25 percent of the match fee for violating the IPL code of conduct.
