Large gifts for railway passengers, facilities like PM Modi, airport will be inaugurated tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 103 regenerative railway stations tomorrow under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which will be a historic step towards modernization of Indian Railways. The names of Amrit stations being inaugurated in Maharashtra are Amgaon, Chanda Fort, Chinchpokali, Devlali, Dhule, Kedgaon, Lasalgaon, Lonand Junction, Matunga, Murtijapur, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari Junction, Parel, Savada, Shahad, Vadala Road.

The nectar stations that are being inaugurated in Tamil Nadu are: Chidambaram, Kuliturai, Mannargudi, Polur, Samalpatti, Srirangam, St. Thomas Mount, Thiruvannamalai, Vriddhachalam Junction. Among the nectar stations being inaugurated in Uttar Pradesh, Balrampur, Bareilly City, Bijnor, Fatehabad, Gola Gokarnanath, Govardhan, Govindpuri, Hathras City, Idgah Agra Jn, Ijjatnagar, Karchana, Malani Jn, Pukhrayan, Pukhrayan, Ramghat Halt, Saharanpur Jun, Siddharthnagar, Siddhartnagar, Ujhani is involved.
The Amrit stations inaugurated in Gujarat include Dakor, Derol, Hapa, Jamwantali, Jamjodhpur, Kanalus Junction, Karamsad, Kosambi Junction, Limbdi, Mahuva, Mithapur, Morbi, Okha, Palitana, Rajula Junction, Samakhiyali, Sihor, Utran. Amrit stations being inaugurated in Madhya Pradesh are: Katni South, Narmadapuram, Orchha, Seoni, Shajapur, Sri Dham. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Bagalkot railway station has been redeveloped at a cost of Rs 16.06 crore. It now has modern station buildings, better passenger facilities, dedicated parking, advanced platform, lift, escalator and a wide foot overbridge, providing comfortable and accessible travel experience.

Dharwad railway station has been re -developed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at a cost of ₹ 17.1 crore. Upgradation includes second entrance, wide foot overbridge, lift, escalators, modern saints, digital facilities, disabled toilets, better parking, ticket counter and drinking water facilities, which has increased the overall access and passenger facilities. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS), three additional bedrooms have been constructed in the new station building in Gadag, causing the total number of bedrooms to be four.
