Today, in the inaugural session of the Rajya Sabha Internship Program-Charan 7 at the Vice President’s Enclave, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has made a big statement about Operation Sindoor. He said that the recent Operation Sindoor has changed our mindset on a large scale. We are more nationalist than ever. And this is reflected in the participation of all political scenarios in delegations that went abroad to promote our message of peace and our complete intolerance towards terrorism. And so, given the recent events, we have no choice.
Jagdeep Dhankhar said that we have no choice but to remain united and strong. For national security, we need indigenous strength. War should be postponed in a state of strength. Peace is safe when you are always ready for war and hence strength comes from people besides technical skills, traditional weapons strength. He said that like institutions, political tribes also have moral duty to national interest, because the last focal point for all institutions is to create national development, public welfare and transparency, accountability, honesty.
Dhankhar said that on issues of national security and economic progress, all groups should keep national interest above party priorities. I would appeal to everyone in political spectrum to consider seriously and reach the conclusion that there should be consensus on internal security and development issues. Sometimes politics becomes very hot for nationalism and security. This is something that we have to overcome.
