MS Dhoni received ICC Hall of Fame, now responds, said- Cricketers of different generations ….

MS Dhoni, the great Indian cricketer of the Indian cricket team, has been formally included in the Hall of Fame by the ICC. After this achievement, now former Indian captain and veteran player has also reacted. MS Dhoni was among the seven prestigious players who have been included in the ICC Hall of Fame at a grand ceremony held at AB Road Studio in London.
 
Apart from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, this time other male cricketers have also received this honor. The players who received this honor include Hashim Amla of South Africa, former Australia opener Matthew Hayden, former South African captain Graeme Smith and New Zealand’s great player Daniel Vettori. Pakistan’s Sana Mir and former England wicketkeeper-batsman Sarah Taylor were two female members, with the involvement of which the total number of hall of fames increased to 122.
 
Seven reputed cricketers have been selected by the ICC Hall of Fames, senior officials and media members. All have been included in the Hall of Fame during the ‘A Day with the Legends’ program. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has more than 17000 international runs and is the only captain to win the three ICC White-Ball tournaments. He felt honored after achieving this feat as the ICC recognized the contribution of cricketers through its Hall of Fame program launched in 2009.
 
Dhoni’s response to joining ICC Hall of Fame
After achieving this achievement, Mahendra Singh Dhoni said, “It is an honor to join the ICC Hall of Fame, which recognizes the contribution of cricketers of different generations around the world.” He said, “It is a wonderful feeling to remember your name with such great players. This is something that I will always cherish.” Dhoni has played against all the five players in the men’s hall of fame and even shared the dressing room with Hayden in Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
 
Dhoni has become the 11th Indian cricketer to join the ICC Hall of Fame. Before him, Sunil Gavaskar, Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Veenu Mankad, Diaan Edulji, Virender Sehwag, Neetu David have received this honor.
ICC chairman Jai Shah said, “Through the ICC Hall of Fame, we honor the best players of the game, whose notable career has shaped the legacy of cricket and inspired generations.”
