Mamata Banerjee targeted the Center over Pahalgam attack, said- BJP failed to protect people

The West Bengal Legislative Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution in which the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces was appreciated for accurate attacks on terrorist bases on the western border of the country. However, during the discussion on the proposal after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s remarks on the Pahalgam terror attack, there was an uproar in the House. The proposal appreciated the armed forces for “their unwavering courage in the protection of the nation” and passed it without any opposition. Interestingly, there was no mention of the word ‘Operation Sindoor’ in the recitation of the proposal, but on May 7, the exact attacks in parts of Pakistan and the illegal occupied Kashmir of Pakistan were talked about.

However, the proposal introduced did not mention the word ‘Operation Sindoor’ anywhere.
