In fact, NDTV has quoted sources in one of its reports that the owner of the franchise Diazio wants to sell the PAC franchise. The current owner of RCB is keen to sell the franchise completely or some stake. This decision has been taken in view of the team’s brand value after the team won the first IPL title.
At the same time, RCB is owned by United Sprites Limited which is through Diazio. This company is interacting with potential investors. However, there is no information about the franchise’s valuation till now. Bloomberg wrote in its report that the owners can ask for the price of this franchise at Rs 16,834 crore. The company is considering selling either the entire or half stake.
