New Delhi. The process of registration for admission in two postgraduate programs – Media Business Studies and Strategic Communication – has started in the country’s most prestigious media educational institute Indian Institute of India (IIMC). The last date to apply is June 15, 2025.
Registration can be done through the IIMC website. The registration fee is ₹ 1,500 for general category and ₹ 1,000 for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Divyang categories, which will have to be deposited online.
Indian citizens are eligible to apply for both these programs from a recognized university in India (at least 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA) in any subject (at least 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA). Students who have appeared in their graduation final year examinations or are also being done can also apply.
For MA in Media Business Studies, students holding CUET-PG in the following topics can apply:
– Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)
– General-Management (CoQP12)
– Economics (COQP10)
– Coqp08)
CUET-PG scores will be valid in these subjects for MA in Strategic Communication:
– Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)
– Political Science (HUQP18)
There is no age limit for admission to these programs. Selection will be done on the basis of CUET-PG score and interview. Both programs have 40-40 seats, in addition to 8-8 supernumery seats are reserved for professionals and other categories. Under the Supernumerary Kota, the Indian Armed Forces personnel and at least 10 years of experience media professionals can apply without CUET scores. They will be selected only on the basis of interview.
The total fee amount of two years of both programs is ₹ 2,82,000. At the time of admission, students will have to deposit the first semester fee ₹ 79,000.
