The Israeli army on Thursday asked people to vacate the area around Iran’s heavy water reactor. This warning was issued by posting a post on the social media forum ‘X’.

Meanwhile, a US -based human rights group reported on Thursday that at least 639 people were killed and 1,329 others were injured in Israeli attacks on Iran.

The Israeli army shared a picture taken from the satellite, warning through social media to evacuate the Arak reactor, showing the reactor in red circle. The heavy water reactor at Arak is 250 km (155 mi) south-west from Tehran.

A heavy water reactor is used to cool the nuclear reactor but it also makes plutoniums that can be potentially used in nuclear weapons.

The United Nations’ nuclear monitoring organization is urging the international nuclear power agency Israel not to attack Iran’s nuclear centers. It is said that the agency inspectors last visited Arak for the last time on 14 May.

Meanwhile, Washington -based group ‘Human Rights Activists’ reported that at least 639 people have died and 1,329 others have been injured in the Israeli attacks so far. The group said that among those who died, 263 are common citizens and 154 security forces personnel.
