Pakistan’s terrorism is on target of FATF

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), which monitors money laundering and terrorism in the world, has not yet put Pakistan in the gray list, it has finally condemned Pahalgam’s cruel terrorist attack on 22 April. While doing so, FATF has stamped India’s logical argument which is a sign of this related success of India. The FATF has bluntly stated that ‘such developments cannot happen without transferring funds between supporters of terrorists’. Finally, India’s long-awaited demand that Pakistan be put in the dock for the nutrition of terrorism, this demand is a sign of the success of success. After the Pahalgam terror attack, the meaningful efforts made to call the world public opinion the reality of Pakistan, sent the delegation of MPs and officers of India to the major countries of the world to expose Pakistan, they seem to be fruitful.
In the gray list of FATF, a country is kept under surveillance until it corrects the flaws, errors, discrepancies identified in its financial system. Pakistan was in the gray list till 2022 to nurture and encourage terrorism, it was removed from the gray list in the same year, despite Pakistan has not made any improvement and is not only providing safe refuge to the terrorists, but also remains a laboratory of terrorism, involving itself in criminal works like terrorism. FATF also used similar harsh words in February 2019, condemning Pulwama suicidal attack. But this time the difference is that the FATF has announced that ‘State Sponsored Terrorism’ will be part of the investigation of terrorism financing cases in its upcoming report. In fact, after the Pahalgam massacre, India has been continuously demanding to put Pakistan again in the gray list of FATF. Which will severely limit Pakistan’s access to international loans.

In fact, Pakistan was partly successful in convincing this monitoring organization FATF on the basis of fed arguments that it is improving its system to deal with money refinement and terrorism funding. It is noteworthy that despite India’s strong opposition, Islamabad managed to achieve a bailout package of one billion dollars from the International Madra Fund i.e. IMF. However, Pakistan will also have to face several strict conditions with this bailout package. In this way, it will come in front of the world in the world. India has managed to explain and explain to the countries of the world that Pakistan not only supports terrorism, but it is also a nutritious of terrorism and also funds for terrorism. In this way it can be called India’s diplomatic victory. Because such bold statement of FATF is a slap on Pakistan’s mouth. There is a need to understand the depth of the official statement issued by FATF, that “terrorist attacks kill people all over the world, make them crippled and create fear. That is, FATF has assumed that the Pahalgam attack came into force due to terrorist financing. This statement of FATF is very important for India. The policies evaluate. It is worth mentioning that the Gray list of FATF is currently under the name of 24 countries, which are under monitoring for funding, terrorist financing and spreading.
It is a remarkable and noted thing here that Pakistan has been put on the gray list of FATF many times. It was first put on the gray list in 2008, but was later removed in 2010. Subsequently, Pakistan was again put on this list in 2012 and it was re -removed in 2015. Subsequently, Pakistan was again put on the gray list in June 2018 and was removed in October 2022. But this is such a dom of the dog, which is kept in the stringent provisions, it remains crooked. It is noteworthy that FATF has developed guidance at terrorist financing risk to support experts contributing to more than 200 sectors in the global network. The important thing is that after the strict and harsh behavior of FATF, international investors have started to understand that Pakistan is becoming an unsafe and terrorist nutritious destination. In such a situation, due to the pressure of FATF and the possibility of economic restrictions, Pakistan’s Danwadol economy may be shocked.
The G-7 summit meeting is being held from 15 to 17 June 2025 in Kananaskis, Alberta province of Canada to host Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney. Apart from the heads of the G-7 countries, leaders of India, Prime Minister of India, Ukraine President Volodimir Zelanski, South African President Cyril Ramafosa and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanies have also been invited. During this meeting, Prime Minister Modi is creating an atmosphere to be organized in protest against terrorism, telling the heads of the G-7 member countries about the truth of Pakistan and the success of Sindhur. India, welcoming the FATF statement, has also said that it confirms a united stance against terrorism globally. Security experts also termed the FATF warning as serious and said that this is another major setback for Pakistan, which could make its global image more weak. Significantly, the Indian authorities had last month meeting with FATF representatives in Paris and Washington and demanded new action against Pakistan.
India told the world how Pak was hiding terrorism schools as health centers or schools. Pakistan’s aim was that this would not detect the training centers of terrorism to the world and would avoid the punishment of global organizations. In fact, Pak Hukamran has always been trying to get help from the international fraternity by calling himself suffering from terrorism. India has made a successful effort to make the world public opinion aware of the reality, citing this threat. Now it depends on the discretion of FATF’s doers and how much they can manage to detect the dangerous plans of Pakistan. On the one hand, Pakistan is requesting help from international institutions citing economic plight, on the other hand it has increased the expenditure of twenty percent on its defense item. This fact is not hidden from anyone that Pakistan will spend all the money for this defense budget increase on flourishing terrorism rather than national security. In order to locate any misuse of money in these tragedy and irony terrorism conditions, the international fraternity should monitor its regular expenses.
