The Kerala Congress has clarified that Shashi Tharoor was included in the list of star campaigners handed over to the Election Commission. The party said that Tharoor was abroad and was in Delhi, which reveals his absence in the recent promotional programs. This happened when Shashi Tharoor said he was not invited to a rally and accepted differences with the party leadership. The dispute in Kerala recently stems from the appreciation of the CPM government, which is allegedly angry with Congress leaders.

Sunny Joseph said “We officially published the list and handed it over to the Election Commission. It included Shashi Tharoor’s name. He was abroad most of the time and then in Delhi. I don’t know whether he came to Kerala or not.They said“I have nothing more to say about it.
Taking the names of senior leaders like Ramesh Chennithla and Kodikunnil Suresh, he said, “All other leaders except AK Antony came to the election and cooperated,” who joined the by -election for his candidate Aryadan Shaukat. Joseph’s remarks came a day after Joseph, who was a four -time MP from Thiruvananthapuram, that the party never asked him to join the Nilambur campaign.
