On the third day of the first Test match against England, Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant got angry with the umpire in Leeds and threw it with him. This video of Pant is becoming quite viral on social media. In which it can be seen that Pant is talking to the umpire first and then took the ball from him and threw it into the ground. There is also a possibility that Pant may be fined for his behavior.
During the first session on the third day of the game, Indian vice -captain Rishabh Pant urged umpire Paul Refel to change the ball, but the umpire refused to accept it. After this, Pant came clearly angry with the umpire and threw the ball on the ground. It is seen in the video that Pant first appealed to the umpire to change the ball, but the umpire rejected it and probably asked to change it later. Pant threw the ball after the umpire’s disagreement.
During the first session, Indian players repeatedly changed the shape of the debate with the ground umpire. Jasprit Bumrah is also seen talking to the field umpire in the video. As soon as the game reached near 60 overs on the third day, Pant was seen requesting Paul Refel to check the size of the ball using gauge.
Refel used gauge and the ball passed without any problem, causing him to reject the request. Pant urged the umpire to re -examine it, but Refel stood on his decision. Two overs later, Captain Shubman Gill made another attempt and requested Gaffni to change the ball. He was also rejected.
