When asked about a fresh discussion about the possible leadership change in Karnataka, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had the same reply: “This party is in the hands of the high command.” When DK Shivkumar was made the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Kharge told reporters that no one can say what is going on in the high command. It is common for Congress leaders to postpone decisions on the high command, but when party president Mallikarjun Kharge also does the same, people’s eyebrows are tanned. His comments often strengthen the BJP’s allegation that Sonia Gandhi and her children- Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are running the party from behind the curtain.

Many people understood this comment in such a way that the 82 -year -old Congress president himself is not a part of the high command himself. The BJP immediately questioned this and questioned the role of Kharge. Taking advantage of this opportunity, BJP MP Tejashwi Surya asked the most clear question: Who is ignorant, unheard high command? Taking a sarcasm at Kharge, Surya questioned who is not the Congress president, who is this high command, which is always felt.

In a post on X, Surya took a scathing sarcasm at Kharge and wrote: “The Congress high command is like a ghost. It is invisible, unheard, but always felt. Even the Congress president, whom people considered high command, they also whispered its name and says that they are not!” Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly and R Ashok of BJP described Kharge as another accidental leader. Ashok wrote in a post on X, “Now it is Mallikarjun Kharge, who is a casual AICC president and proudly admits that he does not know what the high command is thinking.”
