A police constable in custody in alleged rape case of a married woman

The Rajasthan Police on Sunday detained a constable on Sunday for raping a married woman on the pretext of recording the statement of a married woman. An official gave this information.

Sanganer Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Vinod Kumar Sharma said that the victim’s husband had lodged an FIR against constable Bhagram on Saturday night.

He said that according to the FIR lodged, he reached his house on Saturday on the pretext of registering the statement in connection with the complaint lodged by the victim on Friday against constable Bhagaram neighbor posted at Sanganer police station and took his wife to a hotel room.

The complainant said that he had gone to work at the time when the accused constable went home. He said that the accused constable took the complainant’s wife and his three -year -old son to a hotel on his bike and asked for a room to change clothes.

He told that after that the accused constable raped his wife in front of his three -year -old son in the hotel room. Police said that when the woman protested, the accused constable threatened to put her husband in jail. He also threatened that he would take action if he told anyone about the incident.He said, “The accused constable has been detained and is being questioned. Medical examination of the woman is also being conducted to confirm the rape.
