A production house cheated Rs 4 crore from Arushi Nishank, daughter of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister

A case of cheating of Rs 4 crore has come to light from Aarushi Nishank, daughter of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and former Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. Aarushi has filed an FIR against a production house in Mumbai. Actress and filmmaker Aarushi has accused Mini Films Private Limited in her FIR that she has cheated her Rs 4 crore in the name of giving her a role in a film.
In the FIR lodged at Kotwali police station in Dehradun, actress and filmmaker Aarushi Nishank has alleged that Mansi and Varun Bagla of Mini Films Private Limited contacted her at her residence in Dehradun. Both proposed to give him a role in an upcoming film. The FIR states that Mansi and Varun invested him in the film, but were later released. He further said that after talking to Mansi and Varun, both of them made fun of their Garhwali background and threatened them.

The actress said, ‘She introduced herself as the director of Mini Film Private Limited and said that he is producing a film with actress Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey. He offered me an important role in the film, but said that I will get this role only when I would invest Rs 5 crore in this project. He assured me that this investment will give my firm 20 percent profit stake, which is more than Rs 15 crore. Let me tell you, a case has been registered under the forced recovery, fraud, forgery and criminal intimidation under other sections of the Indian Code (BNS).

The production house has previously produced the crime-thriller ‘forensic’ of 2022 starring Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte. Currently, the production house is producing the film ‘Aankh Ki Gustakhian’, with Vikrant Massey in the lead role.
