PM Modi’s first foreign trip after Operation Sindoor
This will be Prime Minister Modi’s first foreign visit to India’s Operation Sindoor. Therefore, many people believe that PM Modi will highlight Pakistan’s terrorist exports. Meanwhile, the Canadian readout did not say much about the journey. Regarding the conversation between the two world leaders, the readout said that the important thing is that it was agreed to continue the discussion to address the law enforcement and security concerns. During the phone calls, PM Modi and Carney, who took oath as the PM of Canada in March and won the federal elections next month, resolved to re -form the ties spoiled by former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Indo-Canada relations were soured when Trudeau stood in the Canadian Parliament and alleged that Khalistan was involved in the killing of terrorist and Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar. New Delhi dismissed Trudeau’s claim as absurd, dismissing the allegations. The whole matter increased to such an extent that the two countries withdrew their High Commissioners. When asked about Nijjar investigation, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said last week that although the rule of law would never be compromised, Canada is ready to carry forward the partnership. The two leaders discussed long -standing relations between Canada and India, including deep relations and important commercial relations between people.

Will the Khalistan dispute be at the center of PM Modi’s visit to Canada?
When asked about inviting PM Modi amid Nijjar investigation, Carney did not say much. On the ongoing investigation into the murder of pro -Khalistan terrorist, Carney said that a legal process was going on. I cannot comment on the ongoing legal process. He said that my message is for Canadian people. Our country follows the rule of law and we will not interrupt it. Commenting on the upcoming visit of the Indian Prime Minister, Canadian lawyer and Vancouver-Kavilchena MLA in British Columbia, Dallas Body, said that I think the relationship would be better and the meeting of the two leaders would be exciting. This also shows that Canada needs to have a positive relationship with India. India is a great country where educated population, talented people, inspired people, democracy and such a big market, where there is a business system. Canada cannot achieve anything by making positive relations with India.
