After train kidnapping, Baloch Liberation Army targeted a convoy of security forces, 7 soldiers killed in suicide attack

After the train kidnapping, there was a suicide attack on a convoy of security forces in Balochistan province of Pakistan, killing seven soldiers. The Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for this attack. Taking responsibility for the attack, the BLA has claimed that 90 military personnel have been killed in their suicide attack. However, sources have so far confirmed seven deaths. Meanwhile, security forces have laid siege to the explosion site. With this, drones have been launched to monitor the area.
When and where did the attack?
The convoy of the paramilitary Frontier Corp (FC), going from Quetta to Taqtan, was attacked on the national highway in Nashki area. A suicide bomber hit the convoy with an explosives. Let me tell you, this convoy of security forces consisted of seven buses and two vehicles.

Police confirmed the attack
Local Nashki police station chief Zafarullah Sumalani confirmed the attack, saying that initial investigation shows that it was a suicide attack. The official said, “The number of dead may increase.” Sumalani said the evidence from the place of attack suggests that a suicide bomber put an explosive vehicle into the FC convoy.
BLA issued a statement
According to India Today, the statement issued by the BLA said, “Majeed Brigade, a fidelit unit of the Baloch Liberation Army, targeted the convoy of the Pakistani Army occupied in the VBIED fidiculous attack near the Rakshan mill on the RCD highway in Noski a few hours ago. There were eight buses in the convoy, one of which was completely destroyed in the explosion.
It said, “Soon after the attack, the Fateh squad of the BLA went ahead and surrounded another bus, systematically killed all the military personnel aboard it, leading to the total number of enemy’s casualties to 90”.

Bugti condemned the attack
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack and expressed grief over loss of life and property. Bugti said in an official release, “There will be a painful end of those who play with peace in Balochistan.” Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind also condemned the attack by targeting innocent people.
Earlier the train was hijacked
Earlier in the same province, militants of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the Jafar Express carrying 440 passengers carrying 440 passengers near the hilly areas of Gudra and Piru Kunri on March 11. On March 12, the militants killed 21 passengers and paramilitary forces before the army killed all 33 terrorists.
