Agniveers will also get reservation in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Police, CMs of both the states announced it

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday announced reservation for Agniveers in the state police and other armed forces. In a post on Twitter, the MP CM said that today on the occasion of Kargil Day, our government has decided that as per the wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Agniveer jawans will be given reservation in police and armed forces recruitment. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand governments have also announced reservation for Agniveers today.

At the same time, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai has also made a big announcement. He said that when the Agniveers of Chhattisgarh state return after serving in the Indian Army, the Chhattisgarh government will provide these youth the facility of adjustment on priority basis in the posts of constable in police service, forest guard in forest service and jail guard etc. Along with this, he said that our government is going to issue the necessary guidelines soon to provide a fixed reservation facility to the Agniveers for this.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday (July 26) announced that the state will provide reservation to Agniveers in UP Police and PAC. He said that when Agniveers return after their service, the Uttar Pradesh government will facilitate adjustment of these youth in police service, PAC on priority basis. A certain reservation facility will be provided for them in Uttar Pradesh Police.

The Uttarakhand government has announced reservation in government jobs for Agniveers. According to the announcement made by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Agniveers will be given reservation in government jobs in Uttarakhand when they return after serving in the armed forces. The announcement was made on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Addressing an event to pay tribute to the armed forces, Dhami said that a law will be brought to increase the reservation.
