Technology -based veteran company ‘Microsoft’ admitted that it sold the Israeli Army during the war in Gaza, sold to the Israeli Army, which sold the Israeli boundaries and efforts to detect the Israeli hostages, but the company also said that it has not found any proof that it has not found any evidence to the people of its ‘agar’ platform and AI technologies till date. To target or harm them.
This has been accepted in a ‘blog post’ on the corporate website of ‘Microsoft’. There is no signature below this post. It appears that this is the first public acceptance of the company’s participation in the war. The war began after Hamas killed about 1,200 people in Israel and thousands of people were killed in Gaza in Israeli retaliation.
The investigation conducted by the ‘Associated Press’ (AP) about three months ago revealed that the American company ‘Microsoft’ has a close partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the military use of commercial AI products increased by about 200 times after the attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023.
The AP had reported that the Israeli army uses ‘Ageor’ to write and translate the intelligence collected through large -scale monitoring. The partnership reflects the growing efforts of technology companies to sell artificial merit products for use in various countries including Israel, Ukraine and America.
Human rights groups have expressed concern that the AI systems may be flawed but they are being used to decide who or what to target, resulting in the death of innocent people.
‘Microsoft’ said on Thursday that the company appointed an outsider for starting internal reviews and “additional facts” due to employees’ concerns and several media reports. In the statement, the name of the outside company was not mentioned nor a copy of its report was made available.
The company’s statement said that it provided ‘AIrs’ AI services to the Israeli army, including software, professional services, ‘agor cloud storage’ and translation and worked with its government to protect Israeli ‘cyberspace’ from external threats.
‘Microsoft’ stated that it also provided Israel to “Special access to our technologies” and “limited emergency support” as part of an attempt to help saving more than 250 people held by Hamas on October 7, 2023, “beyond the terms of our commercial agreements”.
The company said, “We believe that the company carefully and carefully followed its principles so that it could help to save the lives of the hostages and at the same time the privacy and other rights of the common citizens in Gaza can also be respected.”
Apart from ‘Microsoft’, the Israeli army has made extensive contracts for clouds or AI services with Google, Amazon, Paller and many other major American technology companies.
‘Microsoft’ stated that the Israeli army, like other customers, is bound to follow the company’s acceptable use policy and AI code of conduct that restrictions prohibited by the law of products to harm in any way. The company said that it has found “no evidence” that the Israeli army has violated these conditions.
