Defense Secretary (Production) Sanjeev Kumar said that the supply of LCA Tejas has been delayed, but now the production line is getting stable. We are confident that Tejas will be supplied according to the original plan from 2025-26. From 2025-26, there will be a production capacity of 16-24 Tejas every year. The supply line of our US partner Joi engine will also be stabilized. He said, the Government of India is committed to self -sufficiency. We are putting our energy and resources not only in Tejas, but also in AMCA (Advance Midium Combat Aircraft). At the same time, all options are considering to fill the gap and keep their orders operational ready.
