Owaisi also insisted on implementing the caste census soon and wanted to know whether the report would be available before the 2029 parliamentary elections. He emphasized that this practice is important to ensure justice and effective positive action in India.
AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Pakistan amidst an increased tension after the Pahalgam attack and said the BJP says ‘will enter the house’. If you (Central Government) are going to take action against Pakistan this time, then ‘sit into the house’. As the media report states that the Pakistani Army has run away from the check post, then the Indian Army should go inside the check post and sit there. He said, “It is the resolve of the Indian Parliament that PoK is ours. All opposition parties are telling the government that terrorism should be eliminated.”
Owaisi also insisted on implementing the caste census soon and wanted to know whether the report would be available before the 2029 parliamentary elections. He emphasized that this practice is important to ensure justice and effective positive action in India. He said that caste should be census so that it can be known which caste is developed and which caste is underdeveloped … It is very important for positive action and justice in the country, because you have stopped OBC reservation at just 27 percent, it is not enough.
Owaisi also questioned the government’s intention and deadline for caste census. He said that we want to know from the BJP when you will start it and how long will you complete it. Will its report come before the 2029 parliamentary elections or not? He highlighted the discrepancies in the funding, saying that this year the budget allocated to the Census Commissioner Office was Rs 575 crore, which is contrary to PM Modi’s 2019 claim in which he stated the need of Rs 8254 crore for the national publicity.
