Major centers of raw human hair

Hair types in India
Two types of hair are collected in India – Remi and Non -Remy Hair. Remi Bal, the best category, are collected from temples where pilgrims donate their hair as part of the religious pledge. This quality is mainly used to make hairpiece and wig. Non-ramie is domestic waste collected by small groups of people in non-ramy villages and cities. They separate it and sell it to dealers.
