The BCCI will soon release the list of Central Contract related to the players of Team India. This time the board will make many changes in the contract. Apart from Team India veteran Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja may suffer a big loss. These three players are currently involved in A Plus grade but now their grade may change.
Actually, Rohit-Kohli and Jadeja retired from T20 format after the T20 World Cup. According to board rules, A Plus grade is kept in those players who play ODI, Test and T20 formats. But Rohit, Jadeja and Kohli have said goodbye to T20, due to which their grade can be changed.
At the same time, BCCI gives salary according to grade. In such a situation, Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja may suffer losses in salary. These three players may lose at least Rs 2 crore. BCCI A Plus gives 7 crore rupees to the grade players. Whereas grade A gives a salary of Rs 5 crore annually to the players.
The current contract of BCCI has only four players in A Plus grade, with Rohit, Virat and Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah is included. If we talk about Gray A, currently 6 players Mohammed Shami, Mohammad Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya and Ravichandran are part of the Ashwin list. However, now Ashwin will also be removed from this list. At the same time, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Akshar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav are part of Grade B.
