Bengaluru – Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express| Vande Bharat is going to start on this route too, will run on the tracks from July 31

Vande Bharat Express is running on many routes in the country. Now all preparations have been made to run it on a new route as well. The long pending Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express is going to start from 31st July. This will be a special train which will run thrice a week. With its launch, the travel time between the two cities will be reduced.

According to a report in The Hindu, the eight-coach semi-high-speed train will depart from Ernakulam Junction (ERS) at 12:50 pm and reach Bengaluru Cantonment station at 10 pm. The train will be available from Ernakulam on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday every week. Meanwhile, the train will depart from Bengaluru Cantonment at 5:30 am and reach Ernakulam at 2.20 pm. The train service on this route will be available on Thursday, Saturday and Monday every week. The train will stop at Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode and Salem between Ernakulam and Bengaluru Cantonment.

The launch of the Vande Bharat Express has been postponed for some time. It was supposed to happen during last Deepavali, but could not happen due to several reasons. The new Vande Bharat Express is expected to help people who frequently travel to Bengaluru from Thrissur and Ernakulam region, which is about 500 km from the capital. This service will benefit students, businessmen and many government officials. Vande Bharat Express trains run from Bengaluru to Mysore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Dharwad and Coimbatore.
