Mayawati accused Ashok Siddharth of creating a partition by creating factionalism in the party, weakening the organizational strength of the BSP. He cited recent events, including his son’s wedding incidents, as an example of his efforts to weaken the party. He said that it was unacceptable and due to this he was expelled from the party.
He said that removing Akash Anand was an important step, because his father -in -law could have great impact on him. He suggested that Siddharth’s actions had already started impressing Anand’s political approach, which was not in the best interest of the party. Holding Siddharth completely responsible, he claimed that he not only damaged the BSP, but also derailed the political career of Akash Anand.
