There were also plans to implement AI-enabled cameras to not only monitor the quality of linen and food but also to optimize train occupancy. This is done by analyzing the data and predicting seat availability after the reservation chart is prepared. “One model we used to check the occupancy of trains resulted in an increase of more than 30% in the rate of confirmed tickets,” Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said.
