This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to this country. Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrez Plankovic welcomed Prime Minister Modi at the airport showing special honors.
Plankovic said on the social media platform X that we welcomed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jagreb! This is the first visit to the Prime Minister of India with the most populous country in the world – which is happening in an important geopolitical moment. He said that both countries are starting a new chapter in their relationship and are facilitating things to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said on X that historic milestone in Indo-Croatia relations.
