Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday met BJP National President JP Nadda in Patna’s Government Guest. The two leaders discussed the future strategy of NDA in Bihar as elections are to be held in the state this year. Kumar reached the state guest house, where the Union Health Minister stayed after reaching the city. During the meeting, both the Deputy Chief Ministers of the state Vijay Kumar Sinha and Samrat Chaudhary were also present in the meeting.
Nadda arrived in Bihar on a two -day visit to the state on Monday. In the evening he reached Gaya Airport, where BJP workers welcomed him strongly. Although he did not raise any question, but the state BJP leaders said that he was on a private journey. According to sources, Nadda, who is holding the charge of health and family welfare in the Union Cabinet, can also attend a function organized to complete 100 years of establishment of Patna Patna Medical College and Hospital.
Officials said that apart from President Draupadi Murmu, a large number of doctors from all over the world will also be involved in the program to be held in Bapu Auditorium in Patna. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar later this year. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday targeted the opposition RJD-Congress alliance and alleged that before him people in power “ask for the votes of Muslims” but they failed to stop communal clashes. Janata Dal United (JDU) President Kumar made this comment at a function, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and other dignitaries were present.
