Narendra Modi said that preparations for Mahashivaratri are also going on at this time on this holy land of Baba Ajgabinath. In such a holy time, I have got the privilege of sending another installment of the PM Kisan Nidhi to crores of farmers of the country. About 22 thousand crore rupees have reached the accounts of farmers across the country with one click. He claimed that I have told the Red Fort that developed has four strong pillars of developed India. These pillars are- poor, farmers, women and youth! The NDA government, whether at the center or in the state, is our priority.
Modi said that the farmer needs good seeds for farming, adequate and inexpensive fertilizer, irrigation facilities, protection of animals and protection from damage during disaster. Earlier, the farmer was surrounded by crisis about all these aspects. People who can eat animal feed can never change these conditions. The NDA government has changed these conditions. He said that earlier when there was a flood, drought, hail would fall … then these people (earlier governments) used to leave the farmers on their condition. When you blessed NDA in 2014, I said, it will not work. The NDA government formed ‘PM Crop Insurance Scheme’, under this scheme, farmers have got a claim of Rs 2 lakh crore during the disaster.
