The BLA is now presenting an open challenge to the Government of Pakistan. The Pakistani army also fails to stop the attacks of Baloch rebels. The government of Balochistan has banned traveling at night on several major national highways amid deteriorating law and order in the state. The Commissioners issued a notification banning the journey from 6 am to 6 am on the major national highways. The ban is applicable on many highways including Quetta-Taqtan Road, Lorlai-Dera Ghazi Khan Road, Sibi Road, Coastal Highway and Jhob-Dera Ismail Khan Road.

In such adverse conditions, Pakistan’s security forces faced great trouble when Balochs challenged them to embarrassed them. 339 passengers were successfully rescued, but many people also lost their lives. It included most of the Pakistani army and police personnel.
