Buddhist city of Odisha remained the hottest place in the country for the second consecutive day

Buddhist city of Odisha was the hottest place in the country on Sunday, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 43.6 degrees Celsius. India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information.

The Meteorological Department said that Odisha had the second hottest place in Jharsuguda country, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius. At the same time, Bolangir was the third hottest place and recorded a temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said that Chandrapur in Maharashtra recorded a temperature of 41.6 degrees Celsius, which was the fourth hottest place in the country. According to the Meteorological Department, Buddhist was the hottest place in the country for the second consecutive day.

Buddhist temperature was recorded at 42.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The Meteorological Department said that there were heat -like situations in large areas of Odisha, especially the western region on Sunday.

According to IMD, the maximum temperature was recorded at least seven places including Buddhist, Jharsuguda and Bollengir in Odisha, including Angul (41.1), Titlagarh (40.5), Sundargarh (40.3) and Bhawanipatna (40.2). Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded maximum temperatures 36.8 and 37 degrees Celsius respectively

The Meteorological Department has released ‘Red Warning’ for Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Kalahandi for Monday, expressing the possibility of heat stroke for the next two days. The Meteorological Department releases the ‘red warning’ for the heat, when there is a possibility of too much to fall and the temperature is rapid.

The department has released ‘Orange Warning’ for Sundargarh, Sonpur, Kalahandi, Buddhist and Bolangir districts and ‘Yellow Warning’ for Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj districts.

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of hot and humid weather conditions on Monday at some places of Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Jajpur, Kendra, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati.

IMD said that although people are likely to get relief from heatstroke as it is forecast of thunderstorms and celestial lightning for four days from March 19.
