Relations between India and Canada have now turned sour. Just yesterday, the Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying that the Government of India has decided to expel 6 Canadian diplomats. They have to leave India on or before 11:59 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Along with this, while announcing the recall of India’s High Commissioner to Canada, the Ministry of External Affairs underlined in a statement that the actions of the Trudeau government in the environment of extremism and violence have endangered the safety of diplomats.
