How to reach and where to stay?

If you want to travel Char Dham from your home, then you can talk to a travel agency about it. On the other hand, if you want to start this journey from Haridwar or Rishikesh, then you will get a lot of convenience. For the Char Dham Yatra, you get many options for Haridwar and Rishikesh, in which you can take a government bus or private taxi facility according to your budget. However, if you go by bus then this journey becomes quite cheap for you. The journey will begin with Yamunotri, for which both bus and taxi are available. As far as stay is concerned, you will find Dharamshala and hotels to stay in every dham. You will easily find these hotels around the temple. This whole journey from the bus will make you fall in about 6 thousand, while this journey from a taxi will make you for about 40,000 rupees.

Apart from this, the government also provides a helicopter facility for Char Dham, for which you may have to pay 6,000 to 8,000 rupees, that too for one side only in one dham. If the entire budget of the helicopter is seen, then the price of this package may be about 2.5 lakh rupees.

If you are going to ride a bike, you can also rent a bike from Haridwar and Rishikesh, whose rent can be Rs 1,500 per day.

You will find hotels and homestands to stay on the way to every Dham. Trains do not run on the mountains at night, so it will be better for you to find a hotel in the evening.

According to an estimate, the journey and stay of Yamunotri and Gangotri will cost around Rs 12,000, while Kedarnath’s travel and stay cost can reach Rs 15,000. At the same time, your expenditure in Badrinath can also be around 12,000 rupees. Remember that this cost is for buses and taxis traveling. The total expenses of devotees traveling by helicopter can be up to 2.5 lakhs.
