Registration has been done from Pakistan to Chardham Yatra. This year, a total of 77 devotees from Pakistan had registered for the Chardham Yatra. However, now it has become very difficult for these devotees to come to India. The central government has decided that the visa of the citizens of Pakistan will be canceled. This decision has been taken due to security reasons.
Please tell that due to the Chardham Yatra, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees. The journey to Chardham is scheduled to begin on April 30. So far, a total of 21 lakh devotees have done online register for this visit. It also has the number of devotees coming from abroad. A total of 24,729 devotees have been registered for traveling from abroad to Chardham. Devotees from America, Nepal, Malaysia the most visitors to Chardham. A total of 77 devotees have registered from Pakistan this year.
Verification of devotees will be strict
Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj informed that the central government has clearly issued instructions. In view of the current situation, citizens will not be given visas from Pakistan. Instructions have also been issued to return to Pakistan, all Pakistani tourists who had come to India. The safety of devotees in the journey of Char Dham is our priority. In such a situation, the government has taken this step which we are also following.
Religious sentiments of devotees are hurting due to the registration of the citizens of Pakistan. However, this step of the central government is very important from the point of view of security. Screening and verification of people coming from abroad has now been made more strict during the journey of Chardham.
