On Monday, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zidong met Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad and underlined Beijing’s commitment to regional peace, while diplomatic and business relations between India and Pakistan are deteriorating rapidly. During the meeting, Ambassador Jiang Zidong thanked Zardari for sharing Pakistan’s view and clearly said, China would always support Pakistan to achieve the common desire of both countries to ensure peace and stability in South Asia. He also reiterated the historical strength of China-Pakistan relations.
