Atishi appealed to people for crowd funding

On Sunday, Atishi appealed to the people of Delhi to do crowd funding for him. During this, he said, ‘Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, ministers and Chief Ministers work honestly. Last time also we had contested the elections by seeking help from the people of the country and Delhi and this time also we are contesting the elections with the support and help of the public.

Delhi CM said that she wants full funding to contest elections. I need Rs 40 lakh to contest the elections and I appeal to the people that they can give us any amount from Rs 100 to Rs 1000 which will help us contest the elections. It is not a big deal to wrongly raise such a small amount for a CM. If we collect it through wrong means it will not take even a day, but if the money is taken through corrupt practices then the same infrastructure will collapse.

Post shared on social media

In a post shared on social media, Atishi told the public, ‘In the last 5 years, you have stood with me as an MLA, minister and now Chief Minister of Delhi. All this would not have been possible without your blessings and support. As a young, educated woman, your trust and charity have enabled me to envision a career in politics – a path I could not have pursued alone. Now, as we face another election campaign, I once again need your support. Please contribute to my crowdfunding campaign.
