CM Yogi Adityanath said on Kargil Vijay Diwas 2024, the state government stands with the brave soldiers who protect the country’s border

Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Kargil war was imposed on India. Pakistan had infiltrated Kashmir in a guise and imposed war on India. But what would be the result of the war was decided by our brave soldiers. At that time, our army’s brave soldiers were facing adverse circumstances, but no enemy could stand before our brave soldiers. He said that the world acknowledged the indomitable valor and courage of Indian soldiers during the Kargil war.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the ‘Silver Jubilee Celebration’ organized on the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Surya Auditorium of Central Command, Cantt on Friday. During this, while congratulating Kargil Vijay Diwas, he said that today I feel proud to honor the brave women and families who have lost their family members in the Kargil war. CM Yogi said that India’s identity in the world is not that of a country that forcibly monopolizes.

CM Yogi said that it is India’s tradition to protect the nation from the evils of the scriptures. He said that when India was the leader in the world in terms of strength, intelligence and knowledge, even then we did not attack anyone. But when an invader dared to come here and violate our peace and our goodwill, then the brave soldiers of Mother India sacrificed everything to protect the motherland. CM Yogi said that the state government always stands with the brave soldiers who protect the country’s borders.

CM Yogi said that if our soldier is martyred in any war or while protecting the border, then the state government is giving an assistance of Rs 50 lakh to his family. Along with this, employment has also been ensured for one member of that family. Apart from this, since 2017, our government has also ensured that to carry forward the memory of the martyred soldier, a grand memorial, institute or a road will be named after that soldier in the village, city or town where he belongs. CM Yogi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is able to take forward the resolution of developed India only because today the country’s borders are safe.

On this occasion, CM Yogi honored the father of Param Vir Chakra winner Captain Manoj Pandey, mother of Rifleman Sunil Jung, mother of Naik Abid Khan, wife of Naik Ramkesh Chandra Yadav, wife of Naik Rajendra Yadav, son of Lance Naik Ashok Kumar Yadav, Brigadier Akhil Kumar Sinha, Colonel Prabhat Ranjan, Colonel Gyanendra Pratap Singh Kaushik, Colonel Kshitij Srivastava, Naik Jitendra Singh and Sepoy Vinod Kumar Dubey.

Earlier, CM Yogi attended the ‘Silver Jubilee Celebration’ organized on the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Central Command, Cantt. During this, he paid tribute to the immortal soldiers by offering a wreath and saluted them. CM Yogi also visited the exhibition displaying the bravery of the brave soldiers of India during the Kargil war. On this occasion, CM Yogi posted on Instagram and congratulated the people of the state and saluted the valiant warriors of the Indian Army. He wrote “Hearty congratulations to the people of the state on ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’, a symbol of indomitable valor, unparalleled valor and unmatched courage of the Indian Armed Forces! Salute to the immortal soldiers who gave their supreme sacrifice to keep the honor and sovereignty of Mother India intact! We are proud of the dedication and spirit of sacrifice of the Indian Army.
