On the objectionable remarks made by Shiv Sena MLA from Buldhana Sanjay Gaikwad about the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the way the statements are coming, BJP leaders say that if he (Rahul Gandhi) does not control his tongue, he will be murdered. There is one Ravneet Singh Bittu who says that he is a terrorist. Ravneet Bittu forgets that his grandmother or his father died due to terrorists. After this, Sanjay Gaikwad said that his (Rahul Gandhi’s) tongue should be cut off. BJP’s thinking has fallen so low.
Priyanka said that you can have differences with the leader of the opposition but this is an act of spreading hatred and poison, threats are being given, if BJP does not take action on them then it will show that they are promoting such statements. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu on Sunday criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks regarding Sikhs during his recent US visit and called them the biggest enemy and terrorist of the country. Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad also made a controversial statement about Rahul Gandhi.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged that legal action be taken against those leaders, including Union Minister Ravneet Bittu, who have made ‘objectionable and violent’ statements against the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. In a letter written to the Prime Minister on his birthday, along with congratulating him, he mentioned the statements made by Bittu and some other leaders of the ruling party against Rahul Gandhi and said that these are dangerous for the future.
