Alka Lamba, head of the All India Mahila Congress, announced on Wednesday that if the grand alliance comes to power after the end of this year, the women of Bihar will get a monthly allowance of Rs 2,500. The Congress is part of the Grand Alliance in which RJD plays the elder brother. Lamba promised this during a press conference, in which he supported the ‘My sister Mann’ scheme, which was conceived by Tejashwi Yadav of his coalition partner RJD a few months ago.

The name of this scheme is ‘My Bahin Mann Yojana’, in which women will get Rs 2,500 every month. He said that the NDA governments of the Center and the state are not concerned at all about the welfare of people, especially women. But the Congress and the Grand Alliance allies are worried about them. If the grand alliance comes to power in the upcoming elections in Bihar, then women of underprivileged sections will be given Rs 2,500 per month by the state government.

Under this, after the formation of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar, we are announcing a guarantee of Rs 2,500 every month for the women of the state. The scheme will be named ‘My Bahin Mann Maan Yojana’. Such a scheme is already running in the states where the Congress has government. Such a scheme started first in Karnataka and it continues smoothly in Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand. In the last election, BJP had made the same promise to the people of Bihar, but when their government was formed, they refused to implement it. But what the Congress says shows it.
