Covid-19 Active Cases in India | Corona active cases in India reached close to 4,000, 47 infection reports in Delhi, 20 positive in Mumbai

The cases of Corona virus are increasing once again in India. For the last several days, there has been a continuous increase in numbers. Kovid’s highest number of cases have been seen in Kerala and Maharashtra. Some patients have also reached a critical condition due to corona. About 37 people have lost their lives due to this virus. According to the latest data, the number of cases under Covid-19 in India has increased to more than 4,000, with Kerala remain the most affected state. This information was received from the data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday. According to ministry data, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi are among the most affected states after Kovid-19 after Kerala.

The number of cases under treatment exceeded 4,000
The number of patients undergoing treatment in the last 24 hours in the country was recorded at 4,026 and has reported the death of five patients due to infection. Since January this year, 37 people have been reported dead from Kovid-19 in the country so far. The number of patients undergoing treatment in the country on 22 May was 257 and by May 31, the number increased to 3,395 and after that the number of patients under treatment increased to 4,026.
The status of Kovid-19 in India is closely monitored
Currently, there are 1,446 undergoing patients in Kerala, the highest in the country. This is followed by 494 patients in Maharashtra, 397 in Gujarat and 393 undergoing treatment. According to Health Ministry data, one patient has died in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal in the last 24 hours due to the infection of the Corona virus and two patients have been reported dead in Maharashtra. Official sources had said on 31 May that the situation of Kovid-19 in India is being closely monitored. The ministry emphasized that the severity of the infection is low and most of the patients are undergoing treatment at home separately and there is nothing to worry about.

Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research, said on Monday that the genome sequencing of virus samples in West and South India has shown that the form of the virus that has increased due to the current is not serious and is the new form of ‘Omikron’ of the virus. He said that the four new forms of the virus which have been detected are – LF7, XFG, JN.1 and NB.1.8.1. All these have originated from the form of Omikron. Virus’s LF7, XFG, JN.1 are more cases of infection. Dr. Bahl said, “We are closely monitoring the situation. At this time, we should be vigilant along with monitoring. However, there is nothing to worry about.
