Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma has longed to play a big innings in IPL 2025. He could not create any special blast against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. He scored 18 runs in 12 balls at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, including two fours and one six. He was lbw out by young spinner Vipraj Nigam in the fifth over. However, former MI captain Rohit has won a special feat during his short innings. He has hit 50 sixes against Delhi Capitals.

In fact, Rohit, known as Hitman, has become the first Indian player to hit 50 sixes against any team in the IPL. He made a record in his name, leaving behind veteran wicketkeeper batsman MS Dhoni. Dhoni has now flew 49 sixes against RCB. At the same time, RCB star batsman Virat Kohli is at the third position in the list. Kohli has hit 43 sixes in front of Chennai Super Kings. KL Rahul, a part of the Delhi franchise, has done amazing to hit 43 sixes against RCB.

Talking about the match, Mumbai scored a score of 205/5 in 20 overs in front of Delhi. Rohit and Ryan Ricelton’s (41 in 25 balls, five fours and two sixes) partnered 47 runs for the first wicket. Rohit has only added 56 runs in five matches in the current season. Suryakumar Yadav (40, five fours, two sixes) played a good innings after Rohit returned to the pavilion. The wicket fell in the middle overs that Mumbai would not be able to reach 200 runs but Tilak Verma and Naman Dhir scored a huge score by shaking a 62 -run partnership.
