This latest decision has come at a time when India has resolved to give a strong reply to the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam earlier this month. On 22 April, militants opened fire in Pahalgam in Kashmir, killing 26 people, which was the most deadly attack in the valley after the Pulwama attack in 2019. Representative of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let), The Resistance Front (TRF) took responsibility for the attack. India’s political leadership has given complete operational freedom to the armed forces to take the way, targets and timely decisions of India’s response to Pahalgam terror attack.
