This latest decision has come at a time when India has resolved to give a strong reply to the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam earlier this month. On 22 April, militants opened fire in Pahalgam in Kashmir, killing 26 people, which was the most deadly attack in the valley after the Pulwama attack in 2019.
