did bjp remove annamalai for alliance with aiadmk amit shah put an end to speculation

After Nanar Nagendran, MLA from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, was appointed by the BJP as the next President of Tamil Nadu BJP, Union Home Minister Amit Shah commented on the rumors about the situation of Annamalai. Reacting to the rumors of the removal of Annamalai from the post of state BJP chief due to AIADMK’s alliance with Palaniswami’s party AIADMK, Shah clarified, “This is not true at all.” Shah smiled and pointed to Annamalai sitting on his left side and said, “Mr. Annamalai is still the state president and that’s why he is sitting with me.”

He announced that both BJP and AIADMK would contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections together, said, “AIADMK and BJP leaders have decided to contest the next Tamil Nadu assembly elections in collaboration with the banners of NDA. This election will be fought at the national level under the leadership of Narendra Modi and under the leadership of AIADMK chief Edappadi Palaniswami.” The Home Minister said that in a way, AIADMK has been a part of the NDA alliance since 1998 and for a long time PM Modi ji and great (late CM) Jayalalitha ji have worked together in national politics.

He said that at one time this alliance had won 30 out of 39 seats in the general elections. I am confident that the NDA will get an overwhelming majority and the NDA government will be formed in Tamil Nadu. Amit Shah also targeted the ruling DMK to divert attention from important issues by raising matters like delimitation, NEET and three language policy. He said that the DMK government in Tamil Nadu is largely plagued by corruption, atrocities against Dalits and women and completely failure of law and order. (CM MK) led by Stalin, the state has seen several scams including liquor scam, sand mining scam, energy scam, transport scam, money laundering, nutrition kit scam, free dhoti scam, illegal raids, smuggling and irregularities related to MNREGA.
